On October 24, 2019, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 and the Institute of Mathematics - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology solemnly held the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding. Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Rector of the University; Dr. Bui Kien Cuong, Vice Rector, Mathematics faculty board and representatives of Leadership of Academic Office  and Science Management& International Relations Office. On the side of the Institute of Mathematics, there were Prof. Dr. Phùng Hồ Hải and representatives of functional departments.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed, the Institute of Mathematics will continue to support the Mathematics Faculty  - Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 in training students in the fields of Bachelor Degree in High Quality Mathematics and Mathematics education in English. The Institute of Mathematics will also assist the Mathematics Faculty in postgraduate training.

On this occasion, Leaders of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 also expressed his desire to cooperate with the Institute of Mathematics to develop faculty members and build strong research groups for the Mathematics Faculty.

It is expected that the cooperation will bring opportunities for students of Mathematics at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 to have access to a professional, challenging working environment, from which students can catch up with  the process of international integration and meeting the rigorous demands of the labor market in the current time. This cooperation  also opens opportunities for exchanges, academic exchanges and professional development for faculty members of the Mathematics.
