1. Overview

Location: Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, 32 Nguyen Van Linh street, Xuan Hoa, Phuc Yen, Vinh Phuc, Vietnam.
Aims & Scope: The conference serves as a platform for domestic and international researchers and delegates to exchange research results, methodologies and resources in the field of language, literature and culture education in the context of globalization and the development of digital and artificial intelligence technology. LLCE2020 focuses on the theme of language, literature, culture education and research in the context of globalization and the development of digital and artificial intelligence technology. Topics are included but not limited to: Language education and research; Literature and culture education and research; Teacher training and professional development; Application of digital and artificial intelligence technology in teaching.
Keynote speakers:
- Professor Mike Levy, The University of Queensland, Australia. Dr Mike Levy is an Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. His research work includes studies on the distinctive role of technology in mediating language learning, including how the technology itself shapes the interaction at both the macro and the micro level. His current research interests continue to focus upon the evolving use of new technologies in the teaching and learning of second or foreign languages, with a particular emphasis on research methodologies, design and evaluation.
- Doctor Isaac Lee, School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies, The University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests involve Critical discourse analysis, Korean identity, Language policy and postcolonial studies. He has published a number of articles and book chapters over these topics. Besides, he is an enthusiastic member of educational research associations in Australia such as Globalisation and Education and Australian Association for Research in Education.
- Professor Wu Ying Hui (吴应辉), Beijing Language and Culture University, China. He is currently the Standing Vice Director of Chinese Institute of International Education Studies at Beijing Language and Culture University in China. He is the one who successfully presided over the registration and development of International Chinese Education program (Master’s degree) in China and International Chinese Promotion program (Ph.D.) at Minzu University of China. He has published more than 100 articles in prestigious international journals and presided over 6 key state-level scientific research projects and dozens of projects at a range of levels such as international level, social sciences sector, Ministry of Education, etc.
